Style Of Living/The Lifestyle

On the weekends car watching is truly a unique and inspiring activity as there is plenty of young, new web & internet-based economy money that is very happy to call this busy urban destination their home! Parks galore and tons of hiking, walking, and dog trails surround most of the community. Weekend sporting events (NCAA, NFL & Spring Training) take over parts of the city during various times of the year so be prepared to join the fun and even learn to stay out a little later on the weekends!

Weekend Itinerary (All in good fun in this section – just hypotheticals of course)

Friday Night – HH anywhere in Old Town followed by dinner with friends at Toka Madera/City Hall or AZ 88.

Saturday Night – bar hopping in Old Town for the games and see where the night takes everyone – Roka Akor for dinner followed by late night at The W Hotel sounds like a good plan until Sunday morning.

Sunday – brunch badly needed from very late night the night before and Sunday Funday in full swing at one of the many options in Old Town/Scottsdale.

What It’s Not

No master planned communities here – mostly renovated loft, and condo-style buildings with revitalized/updated homes increasing in value. If active nightlife, entertainment & shopping aren’t part of your daily or weekly lifestyle – then Old Town & Scottsdale might be little too lively for some!
